Wesley Snipes is to begin a three-year prison sentence shortly after having been convicted of tax evasion in the State of Florida.

The Hollywood actor best known for his action roles was found guilty of failing to file income tax returns for 1999 through 2001, despite having earned millions from his film roles. Five other felony charges were dismissed in the trial back in 2008, but Snipes (pictured above at last year’s Venice Film Festival) recently lost an appeal for a retrial.

Since his request for a second trial was turned down by US District Court judge, Snipes is expected to be remanded to an as-yet undisclosed penitentiary outside the state in the near future.

With a price tag of $5000, and a highly limited run of only 20 bikes being produced, this video of the ‘Digitizer’ track bike from Affinity and Kenzo Minami is probably as close we we’ll ever get to one. Still, it’s a fantastically executed little film that does the bike justice.

Trtl Bot’s new cases bring flexible storage and handy stands to the iPhone 4
trtlebot1.jpg

With every new iPhone comes a flood of new accessories designed to unleash the mobile device’s full potential. The new iPhone 4 cases from Trtl Bot stand out among the crowd for their forward-thinking ability to expand the phone’s functionality without adding superfluous plastic or obtrusive packaging. The two iPhone 4 models are the new Trtl Stand 4 and the Minimalist 4, a continuation of their previous line for the 3G/S. Both cases fit the phone snugly, keeping the sleekness of the phone’s design more or less intact.

The Trtl Stand 4 performs exactly how it sounds, letting you prop your iPhone up in three different ways. The different modes (Portrait, Landscape and Tripod) let you use your iPhone hands-free whether you are using Facetime, watching a movie or want to snap a steady photo.

The super slim Minimalist 4 is designed for those who hate having a bulky back pocket or carry a small bag. The hard plastic case provides not only sufficient protection from falls, but the slit on the back provides enough space to stick in an I.D., credit card and metro card.

Made stateside from recycled bottles, both eco-friendly cases sell online from Trtl Bot for $35.

This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Sony Playstation console. Many strides have been made since we first were introduced to the Sony Playstation, and the electronics brand has chosen to mark this occasion with another Nike x Sony collaboration. Sony Playstation has advanced to the point where it can now rival the Nintendo Wii with its Sony Playstation Move Motion controller, which, much like the Nintendo Wii, allows the average gamer to use his/her body AS the control. That said, a “Move” Nike Huarache Trainer has been designed with inspiration from the Move Motion controller. Moreover, “Killzone” Nike SFB boots were created and inspired by the Killzone 3 video game. Take a further look into this Nike x Sony Playstation “Move Pack” after the jump. But, remember, these will be a friends and family only release- as has become customary with these collaborations.

I think everyone in the known world will want them!” That’s a potent, soul-stirring quite from Honolulu’s own Becky Gray, and her emotions tend to mimic our own. We mean, who wouldn’t want a pop-up MicroLite dongle affixed to the bottom of their remote? For a limited time of indefinite nature, free-spending consumers can actually get not one, not two, but three of these miracle workers for the tidy sum of just $19.99*, enabling them to light up a full trio of cut-rate remotes. Better still, you can use two of ‘em to illuminate the keyboard of your shiny new 13-inch MacBook Air — you know, because Apple decided this solution was better than its own integrated one. There’s an unrealistic video demonstration embedded just past the break, and it’s just a Billy Mays (rest his soul) short of awesomeness. Order now!

*Along with a likely laughable shipping and processing fee, of course.

In the past year Coach president and creative director Reed Krakoff has stepped into the spotlight with his own Reed Krakoff brand. So far we’ve seen his elegant handbags and a ready-to-wear line. Now as part of his holiday gift collection he has created a new Reed Krakoff fragrance. The RK Limited Edition. According to an article on the Reed Krakoff website, he sought to create “the opposite of a mass fragrance.” He traveled to Venice to work with glassmakers. The scent itself is described as having a “masculine-feminine sensibility” with note of black pepper and neroli leading to a heart of French hyacinth, white peony and violet and anchored by vetiver and orris. The fragrance is available for $695 and comes in four different colors–nude, grey, clear and silver fleck. There are a total of 400 glass bottles, each one hand-blown and hand-numbered in Murano, Italy by Seguso Viro. The package comes with two bottles of scent and a funnel to fill the bottle.
